About The Position

As a Security Console Operator in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a leading healthcare location, where you will monitor alarm and access control systems, manage calls and radio traffic, and coordinate responses to security-related incidents. You will document activity, support on-site teams, and provide professional customer service to staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
  • Receive calls for service, alarms, and security-related notifications; prioritize and dispatch officers and/or resources via radio, phone, and/or computer-aided systems, maintaining clear communication throughout incidents.
  • Monitor CCTV, alarm panels, access control systems, and other life-system and facility monitoring tools; document and escalate abnormal conditions per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to on-site leadership and/or local emergency responders as directed by post orders.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, dispatch logs, and shift activity documentation; support investigations by preserving video, access, and communication records in accordance with policy.
