About The Position

Our client is seeking a Lead Configuration Engineer/Developer to lead hands-on development and configuration across HR and Finance applications. This principal-level individual contributor role requires Workday ERP experience and focuses approximately 90% of the time on coding, configuration, and troubleshooting, with the remaining 10% dedicated to mentoring junior onshore developers. The role has no direct reports and is accountable for technical delivery, quality, and issue resolution.

The successful candidate will translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive work independently from design through delivery, and collaborate with HR, Finance, functional, and technical teams. The position requires the ability to work on-site 2–3 days per week and travel to Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, as needed.

Requirements

• Workday ERP experience.
• Senior-level HR and/or Finance application configuration and development experience.
• Strong hands-on coding experience.
• Application configuration and customization experience.
• Complex troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Technical solution design experience.
• Integration experience.
• Code review experience.
• Ownership of technical delivery.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to work on-site 2–3 days per week.
• Able to travel to Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, as needed.
