We are seeking a full-time Lead Community Banking Associate to join our team and work on-site at our Clarkstown Community Office. The Lead Community Banking Associate performs a variety of duties to support the paying and receiving functions of the community office; coordinating work within the department, reporting pertinent information to immediate supervisor and responding to inquiries or requests for information.

Requirements

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; A minimum of two (2) years Teller experience normally required.
Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills, as well as analytical and math skills.
Proficient communicative and interpersonal skills, must be professional and courteous.
Proficient eye-hand coordination.
Ability to operate various office machines.
Ability to lift approximately 50lbs.
Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Ensures that all paying and receiving, balancing, and operational activities are done efficiently and according to policy; this includes the activities of Community Banking Associate personnel, ATM services, and other paying and receiving activities.
Ensures that the Community Banking Associate staff works as part of the customer service team and that Community Banking Associates take advantage of new business referral opportunities.
Coordinates Community Banking Associate work, i.e., makes certain that the work of the Community Banking Associate staff is coordinated with other positions in the office, with centralized operations personnel, and other departments.
Prepares related reports as assigned by the Assistant Community Office Manager.
Ensures that all Community Banking Associates have an adequate supply of cash to conduct business; maintains level of cash according to approved cash management policies.
Balances and maintains currency and coin.
Orders all currency and coin for the office; ships extra money; orders and maintains office supplies for the office.
Maintains cash management records.
Balances vault cash each day for the office.
Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness, and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, i.e. Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
