About The Position

R & T Yoder HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced Lead Commercial HVAC Tech. This role offers a competitive wage of up to $40/hour, depending on experience, plus a $300 sign-on bonus. As a Lead HVAC Tech, you will be responsible for removing old HVAC systems, installing new HVAC systems, performing routine maintenance, training junior team members, communicating with clients and customers, ordering and maintaining equipment, running pipe and duct systems, reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, understanding refrigeration cycles, and interpreting various technical data. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, is service-oriented, punctual, reliable, and respectful of others' property.

Requirements

4+ years of HVAC field experience
Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
Self-motivated
Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
Service-oriented
Ability to establish a good rapport with people
Respectful of others and their personal property
Punctual and reliable
Takes pride in work
