About The Position

There are opportunities to grow your technical skills and learn advanced systems like VRF, VAV, and central AC, RTU’s splits, gas, electric. Expect daily variety working on a range of HVAC systems in commercial buildings, schools, and industrial facilities, including chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, and building automation systems (BAS). You will have clear expectations, solid leadership, and chances to work independently or lead other Techs. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Universal EPA certification.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Leadership experience training and managing Techs and Installers.
  • Able to travel 24-50% of the time including some over night.
  • Proficiency in reading HVAC blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid HVAC certification/license as required by local regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BAS integration and HVAC control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and enhance the performance of commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as filter replacements, system inspections, and performance assessments.
  • Collaborate on integrating HVAC systems with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to assess HVAC needs and provide informed recommendations.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and complies with relevant regulations.
