About The Position

KidStrong is seeking a Lead Coach to deliver energetic, engaging classes for children from walking age through 11 years old and support the center’s team, families, and operations. The Lead Coach serves as a role model and motivator for students and families, helps other coaches develop, and may lead the center in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. The role includes flexible scheduling and opportunities to develop skills and advance within KidStrong. Starting rate is based on coaching certifications and leadership experience, with opportunities for event and camp execution bonuses.

Requirements

• Passion for helping children and willingness to work with them.
• Experience coaching children ages 2–11.
• Ability to communicate comfortably with parents and guardians.
• High energy and a clear, engaging presence when leading classes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to mentor other coaches.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to uphold high standards, focus on KidStrong goals, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize team success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, dynamic classes that develop children’s cognitive abilities, physical skills, and character.
• Understand KidStrong’s curriculum and communicate its programs effectively.
• Complete Coach Certification and continue developing skills through training programs.
• Build positive relationships with families before, during, and after classes.
• Ensure classes run smoothly and on time.
• Keep the team connected and informed through Slack.
• Assist with creating and communicating coach schedules.
• Help keep families engaged with KidStrong.
• Lead the center when the General Manager and Assistant General Manager are away.
• Understand center key performance indicators and help maximize performance.
• Assist with community events and center initiatives.
• Participate in center upkeep and maintenance.
• Mentor other coaches and lead by example.
