About The Position

The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer Supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, andworks under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior engineer in large IT projects
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in Azure services (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Networking).
  • Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

  • Experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
