Lead Cloud Platform / DevSecOps Engineer
About The Position
This role is for a Lead Cloud Platform / DevSecOps Engineer located in Arlington, VA. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of experience in a Windows/Linux server environment, with flexibility for additional experience, education, and training in lieu of a degree. The engineer will work extensively with virtual environments using VMware and possess strong scripting skills in languages such as bash, Perl, Python, and Java. A key aspect of the role involves applying security settings and commercial best practices, including DISA STIGs. Experience with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (e.g., FireEye, McAfee sensors and sandboxes) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) is also required. Candidates must hold a current DoD 8750 certification at least at the IAT level II, such as Security+ce.
Requirements
- BS degree and 4-8 years of overall related experience with a Windows/Linus server environment
- Extensive experience working with virtual environments using VMware
- Shell scripting (e.g. bash) and experience in other languages like Perl, Python, and Java.
- Experience with application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.
- Experience with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (such as FireEye and McAfee sensors and sandboxes)
- Experience with Security Incident Event Management (SIEM)
- Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g. Security+ce.
