Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Lead Cloud Engineer to Build, develop, and maintain cloud-native software web applications and systems in support of CVS business needs and end customers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- two (2) years of experience in Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- two (2) years of experience in Programming in Java, Python, or R
- two (2) years of experience in Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- two (2) years of experience in Hadoop, Hive, and HDFS
- two (2) years of experience in SAS or SQL
- two (2) years of experience in MySQL
- two (2) years of experience in Visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau
- two (2) years of experience in Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Hbase, PySpark, or Scala
- two (2) years of experience in Machine learning, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling
- two (2) years of experience in Relational database concepts
- two (2) years of experience in Big Data implementation
- two (2) years of experience in Data warehousing
- two (2) years of experience in Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes
- two (2) years of experience in End-to-end data science lifecycle/workflow
- two (2) years of experience in Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partners
Responsibilities
- assist with cloud-native application development, web development, API integration and scaling them in real time to meet internal users and end-customer customer needs
- participate in entire software lifecycle development, testing, CI/CD and production operations
- develop large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and addresses reporting needs
- write ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing
- collaborate with Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes
- leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines
- utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems
- build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers
- integrate data from a variety of sources and ensure adherence to data quality and accessibility standards
- analyze current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions
- experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions that meet the requirements dictated by the model/use case
