The Lead Clinician oversees clinical services, trains and supervises clinical staff, and ensures that behavioral health specialists complete relevant training on evidence-based practices. This role is responsible for ensuring that child-facing services are provided on-site and confidentially, and for providing treatment to clients of the UC program. The Lead Clinician conducts mental health assessments, provides ongoing individual and group counseling, screens for human trafficking concerns, and offers crisis intervention services. They promote a holistic therapeutic approach, emphasizing the inclusion and empowerment of supportive adults in programming and treatment. This position involves providing oversight at weekly team meetings, collaborating with the Home Supervisor on daily routines and program implementation, and working with Wellness and Education staff to ensure service delivery. The Lead Clinician develops treatment plans, makes clinical decisions regarding client activities, and provides individual and group therapy. They also offer clinical oversight for the development and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu, track client information from intake through aftercare for statistical data, and monitor utilization and outcome data for reporting. Quality assurance compliance, including peer supervision and utilization reviews, is a key responsibility, ensuring adherence to service delivery criteria and reporting requirements.
