About The Position

Responsible for preparing and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies using standard professional procedures. Lead Pharmacist will manage and perform all day to day responsibilities while providing high quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients of the Redeemer Health System and those in the community, in compliance with legal, regulatory and professional standards. This includes drug distribution function, as well as clinical (cognitive) activities plus educational and supervisory functions. Lead Pharmacist will be responsible for training the staff and growing the pharmacy business all provided under the auspices of the Redeemer Health’s Mission and Values. All individuals, within the scope of their position are responsible to perform their job in light of the Mission & Values of the Health System. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of prior experience in a retail pharmacy and/or hospital out-patient pharmacy setting.
  • Pharmacy Management experience.
  • Ability to work a rotating day, evening, and Saturday shifts.
  • MTM certification.
  • Immunization certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with an entry-level pharmacy degree (B.Sc. or Pharm.D).
  • Pennsylvania pharmacist licensure in good standing (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Pennsylvania Authorization to Administer injectables in good standing (or eligible for licensure).
  • ACLS certification in good standing.

  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency.
