The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia Braswell House is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Lead Client Support Worker. This person will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders within a 24-hour facility. This role serves as the shift lead, ensuring continuous client supervision, maintaining a safe and structured environment, and overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly

  • Previous leadership or shift lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and supervision to residents in a 24/7 treatment setting, ensuring safety, stability, and adherence to program guidelines at all times.
  • Serve as the shift lead, providing direction, support, and oversight to Client Support Workers during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure smooth shift transitions and adequate coverage.
  • Monitor resident behavior, conduct routine safety checks, and respond promptly to incidents or emergencies.
  • Facilitate or support group activities, daily living skills, and recovery-oriented programming as needed.
  • Enforce program rules and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and confidentiality regulations.
  • Train and mentor new staff and provide ongoing support to team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
