LEAD CLEANER (H)
About The Position
The Lead Cleaner ensures facility operations follow policies and procedures and coordinates daily work by delegating assignments and providing guidance. The Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present and demonstrates established standards to keep buildings and facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The position involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial duties as needed. The role oversees cleaning operations and service requests at an assigned building, supports scheduling and communication between field employees and management, and monitors work quality and completion. The Lead also trains new hires, validates time records, and checks supplies, equipment, and chemicals. The listed pay rate is $18.00 per hour; any specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Nice To Haves

- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
- Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Take care of property keys and access cards.
- Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features and items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
- Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Obtain any additional certifications or training required by the site type.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
