The Lead Claims Examiner works directly with the Claims Supervisor to foster an efficient team that maximizes its potential. The Lead will frequently provide guidance, instruction, and training to claims department members to achieve optimal performance. This role is responsible for assisting in the resolution of the most complex claims situations and resolving elevated problems of a complex nature. The Lead may serve as a liaison between Claims and other departments, focusing on helping the team build necessary skills and knowledge to better support customers and the company’s mission. A successful team leader should be supportive, communicative, and attentive.
