Lead Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), this role supports the coordination of the nursing aide schedule and assists with various clerical duties. The Lead CNA provides direct assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting resident independence and dignity. A key aspect of this role is to report changes in resident health status to the clinical team and to connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience. The position also involves engaging in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences, while strictly complying with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident and employee information.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
