Lead Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)- 1st shift
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Lead Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) supports the coordination of the nursing aide schedule and assists with various clerical duties. This role provides direct assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting resident independence and dignity. The Lead CNA is responsible for reporting changes in resident health status to the clinical team and connecting with residents and family members compassionately. Continuous learning and development are encouraged through participation in educational seminars and staff meetings. Compliance with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident and employee information is mandatory.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
