About The Position

This is a Full-Time, 40 hours/week position for a Lead Certified Medical Assistant in Family Practice, located in Lisle, IL. The role involves travel as needed to various locations. The office hours are Monday-Friday, with day shifts and varying hours. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.00-$26.45 based on certification, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Paramedic program required.
• CPR Certification required
• A minimum of 2 years MA/CMA experience preferably in the medical field
• Experienced in staff roles with a history of good performance

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all duties included in the Medical Assistant job description.
• Takes inventory and performs ordering of supplies.
• Assists with coordinating staff meetings.
• Supervises work performed by department and may delegate work to staff members.
• Counsels and coaches the team by guiding, directing, motivating, and mediating conflict resolution.
• Assists with staff development, new employee orientation, and training.
• Monitors and ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures.
• May be responsible for performance evaluations as required by Human Resources.
• Responsible for managing the schedule, time keeping, and payroll if necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
