The Lead BCBA in Melville is a licensed and BACB-certified behavior analyst whose day-to-day presence anchors the Melville center's daytime clinical operations. This role blends BCBA supervision, clinical leadership, center oversight, and, as the role develops, primary coordination of the Melville Bridge program. The Lead BCBA will maintain a billable caseload while serving as a senior daytime clinical presence for the center. This individual will provide live support to Behavior Technicians and RBTs, ensure clinical programming is implemented with fidelity, support staff with clinical problem-solving, and safeguard the quality of care provided to all center-based clients. The Lead BCBA will work closely with a fellow Lead BCBA at the Melville location, report clinically to the Clinical Director, and report operationally to the COO. As the role develops, the Lead BCBA will assume increasing responsibility for the continuity and coordination of Bridge students transitioning into center-based services. This includes collaborating with the School Clinical Director on referral, intake, enrollment, and transition planning to ensure students and families receive consistent clinical and operational support. Dragonfly Cares' Bridge Program supports clients who are currently without a school placement. The program provides individualized ABA services focused on developing the executive functioning, behavioral, communication, social, and adaptive skills needed to successfully transition back into a school setting. The Bridge Program works collaboratively with families, clinical teams, and school districts to help prepare clients for their next educational placement. As students develop the skills necessary to return to school, the program supports a coordinated transition and continuity of care.
