This is a full-time, hourly position for a Lead Cashier. The mission of the organization is to 'Change Lives through the Power of Work!' This role involves assisting store management with cashier and banking functions, maintaining the sales floor, and operating cash registers. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in retail operations is required.
Demonstrate accuracy with accounting and book keeping.
Must be able to provide positive internal and external customer relations and to easily interact and work with individuals referred for training.
Handles customer complaints in a courteous and responsible manner.
Demonstrate ability to think independently in supervisor’s absence.
Maintain a good driving record, valid insurance, valid driver license.

Responsibilities

Assist store management with cashier functions.
Provide change.
Handle customer returns.
Assist store management with banking functions.
Balance cash drawers.
Make bank deposits.
Provide training and support to retail associates who are performing store clerk job functions.
Perform job functions of a Retail Associate with an emphasis on store clerk job functions.
