House Doctors St. Peters, MO is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join their team. House Doctors is a nationwide professional handyman service and home improvement company. They handle everything from small repairs to full remodel projects, prioritizing professionalism, craftsmanship, customer service, and safety. Requirements

  • 7 to 10+ years residential construction/remodeling experience
  • Multi-trade expertise in some of the following: carpentry, drywall, flooring, tile, painting, light electrical/plumbing, siding, full remodel projects, commercial build-out
  • Proven leadership and project management abilities
  • Track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, with top quality
  • Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
  • Follow company processes and procedures
  • Perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), work on ladders and handling tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead on-site crews on residential and commercial remodeling projects
  • Accurately estimate efforts for job tasks
  • Manage project timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget job completion
  • Accurately manage job materials
  • Consistently meet quality standards and deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Effectively communicate project updates to clients, office staff and management team
  • Ensure clean, organized and safe job-sites, company vehicles, and workshop
  • Perform hands-on tasks
  • Complete carpentry, framing, and finish work
  • Install flooring, tile, cabinets, doors, and trim
  • Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting jobs
  • Handle exterior repairs including decks, fences, siding, and posts
  • Lead full bathroom, kitchen, and basement remodels
  • Cross-train on new technical skills
  • Help, coach and mentor other team members
  • Represent House Doctors professionally
  • Participate in ongoing career development
