About The Position
Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, leads by example, and delivers exceptional kitchen and bath renovations. This is a full-time, year-round position with competitive pay based on experience. The company has been family-owned since 1934.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional carpentry experience
- Strong cabinet installation and finish carpentry skills
- Residential kitchen and bath remodeling experience
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10
- crew leadership experience
- familiarity with construction technology
Responsibilities
- Lead residential kitchen and bath cabinet installations
- Install cabinetry, crown molding, trim, and detailed finish work
- Read blueprints and troubleshoot jobsite challenges
- Guide carpenters and coordinate with other trades
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer service
