About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who are ready to work, take pride in what they do, and want an opportunity to grow. The Lead Caregiver position combines direct client care and the caregiver job description with responsibilities in training, mentoring, and operational support. The Lead Caregiver serves as a role model and resource for the caregiving team while providing office support and filling critical vacant shifts to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality care for clients. This role corresponds to Level 5 of the NEPA Support Solutions Caregiver Ladder Program.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license or valid photo ID, Reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the service area
• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts as needed
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all employment requirements
• Smartphone with access to email/internet
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards
• Successful completion of all prior levels of the Caregiver Ladder Program or demonstrated equivalent competencies.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with office and field teams.
• 2+ years caregiving experience
