About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers for Part/Full time hours in the Portland Area, Oregon. This role involves hands-on assistance and requires a flexible schedule, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. We are looking for individuals who can meet our high standards of care and are committed to improving the lives of the clients we serve. CNAs and HCAs are encouraged to apply. Paid 8-hour training is provided if needed.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year of caregiver experience is highly preferred
• Ability to lift, move, or assist patients using proper body mechanics
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must have proof of current auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Must be over the age of 21

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding
• Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation
• Following each client's Care Plan
