About The Position
At Freedom Home Care, we're looking for an experienced caregiver who is ready to take the next step into leadership. As a Lead In-Home Caregiver (Mentor / Team Lead), you'll continue providing exceptional one-on-one care while serving as a coach, mentor, and trusted resource for our caregiving team. Requirements
- One or more years of professional caregiving or home care experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a passion for helping others succeed.
- Dependable, organized, and solution-oriented.
- Comfortable providing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to travel throughout our Mankato and Owatonna service areas.
- Ability to safely assist clients with activities of daily living, transfers, and mobility.
Nice To Haves
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, compassionate care to clients in their homes.
- Mentor, coach, and support caregivers in the field.
- Assist with new caregivers orientation, and ongoing training.
- Conduct non supervisory visits, quality assurance visits, and client check-ins.
- Complete caregiver introductions and client meet-and-greets.
- Support caregiver performance through coaching and encouragement.
- Assist with resolving client and caregiver concerns.
- Collaborate with the office team to ensure outstanding client care.
- Participate in the weekday and weekend on-call rotation.
- Attend leadership meetings, trainings, and company events.
