About The Position

Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Tech assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities in the department. The Lead Tech is technically and/or clinically competent, demonstrates and adheres to department standards, and serves as an administrative, clinical and/or technical resource to department staff. Clinical and/or technical responsibilities account for 75% or more of worked hours. Able to perform the competency standards of the Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist. Provides age-appropriate care for patients as defined by the department scope of service.

Requirements

Coursework/Training and Graduate of a program in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification Upon hire.
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire.
2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.
2 years of Cath Lab experience.

Nice To Haves

Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Upon hire.
Supervisory experience.
