A Lead Calibration Engineer is responsible for coordinating and managing all calibration development activity for a given project or family of projects. This Engineer will ensure that performance expectations are met, requirements are developed and understood, and SW / calibration deliverables are on time & on spec. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of successful product launches in the chassis controls field, calibration experience in a complex technology, in-depth knowledge of chassis controls and vehicle dynamics, demonstrated leadership, planning, communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills. Lead Calibration Engineers are expected to work cross-functionally with other groups and champion the resolution of system / vehicle-level performance issues. Current development activities are focused on the latest Cadillac, Chevrolet and Buick EV programs, the Cruise Origin autonomous vehicle, Performance vehicles, and other upcoming EV projects.
