About The Position

Join a dynamic team dedicated to supplier management and communication, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in creating and managing purchase orders, onboarding new vendors, and resolving supply issues. This position requires a deep understanding of procurement processes within the manufacturing and electrical supply industries.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, with a preference for 8-10 years.
Experience in the manufacturing or electrical supply industry.
Proficiency in ERP systems, with NetSuite preferred.
Strong skills in purchasing, procurement, and vendor negotiation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP and supply chain management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage and communicate with suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain process.
Create intercompany purchase orders as needed and track Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) purchase orders.
Delegate incoming orders from daily ordering plans and maintain the Monday.com Purchasing workspace.
Onboard new vendors and manage purchase orders effectively.
Collaborate with the receiving team to identify unmarked deliveries and resolve supply issues.
Review and approve purchase orders, resolving errors and discrepancies in partnership with accounts payable and receiving.
Manage key suppliers and conduct accounting payment hold reviews.
Attend and contribute to purchasing meetings.
