About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Legal Department’s Support Hub, Integration, Execution, and Legal Delivery (SHIELD) team. The Agile product part of the team supports document management, records retention, Corporate Governance, and find-a-legal-contact tools. In this role, you will design a unified records retention and defensible destruction framework standardizing classification across legal systems — demonstrating the governance and compliance expertise central to this role. You will also implement a Legal chat bot for specific areas of the department, partnering with process improvement team and members of Legal Lead initiatives for our NetDocuments software product. You will make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans. You will lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives, drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate. You will review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance, perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations. You will collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives and influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within the Agile methodology, Enterprise Agile JIRA, and document management tools such as NetDocuments
  • Experience implementing scalable document management, records management, or knowledge management solutions to improve reuse, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Experience leading end-to-end legal technology implementations, including requirements gathering, cross-system planning, configuration, workflow design, integrations, testing, and deployment readiness.
  • Ability to assess current-state legal workflows and operating models, define future-state processes, and deliver prioritized roadmaps that strengthen governance, defensibility, and audit readiness.
  • Process redesign and automation experience to eliminate manual steps, improve consistency, and reduce operational and risk-management gaps.
  • Strong data and analytics capabilities, including designing KPI frameworks, dashboards, and executive-ready reporting to translate operational data into actionable insights.
  • Change management experience, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption strategies for new systems, processes, and automated workflows.
