About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Lead, Business Development Operations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing business development activities. This includes organizing tradeshows, gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence, and managing budgets for BD activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant business development experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related business development experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related business development experience.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute participation in industry tradeshows, conferences, and events.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and manage event schedules, budgets, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with communications organization to develop cohesive tradeshow & conference marketing materials
  • Ensure that marketing materials are effectively presented and distributed during events.
  • Track and analyze leads generated through tradeshows and report on ROI.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of competitor information.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive analysis.
  • Develop and manage budgets for business development activities and projects.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
  • Work with finance teams to forecast budgets and track financial performance.
  • Provide regular budget reports and analysis to senior management.
