INFORMATION AND REFERRAL FEDERATION OF LOS ANGELES COUNTYPasadena, CA

About The Position

211 LA seeks a dynamic, experienced leader to manage two critical, complementary areas: the 211HSIS taxonomy and CareSuite business development. The successful candidate will oversee all elements of 211 LA's Human Services Indexing System (211HSIS), including its technical infrastructure, customer support, and strategic alignment with the healthcare field, particularly in Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). Simultaneously, this role requires a strong business development focus to manage the CareSuite client base and sales pipeline, an innovative tool for organizations involved in community information exchanges, care coordination, and information & referral (I&R) services. 211 LA licenses the 211HSIS to software vendors and maintains a subscription-based website for users. The dedicated website, 211hsis.org, now features a search tool, customizable filters, a usage library, and an information hub, enabling users to access the most up-to-date service terms and definitions. This position works with the internal technical team, the accounting team, the 211HSIS/CareSuite support team, the taxonomy editors, and external technical contractors. Customer support and new customer outreach require managing a subscription and licensing system that engages with non-profits, government agencies, for-profit companies, and software vendors that provide information and referral software to end users. These customers span a wide gamut of technical expertise and are based all across the US and Canada.
