About The Position

SimCorp is seeking an innovative and collaborative Lead Business Consultant specializing in ABOR (accounting book of records) to join their team. This role is crucial for expanding the market unit and advancing client project outcomes. The consultant will be responsible for implementing SimCorp's software, acting as a key partner to clients, and managing project streams. The position involves working full-time on implementation projects, requiring expertise in the ABOR area, and ensuring optimal use of SimCorp Dimension® for clients in banking, asset management, and insurance sectors.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms
  • Excellent know-how in at least two of the following areas: Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial Reporting
  • Consulting or Professional Services within the Asset Management sector
  • An implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software
  • Asset Management candidates should have 5-10 years of experience working hands on with the investment and/or fund accounting functions and the enterprise applications that enable them
  • Consultants should have experience with multiple enterprise implementations involving ABOR functions on the buy side, and hands on experience with applications similar to Dimension
  • Degree within Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred
  • Self-starter with a can-do mindset
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on time
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English – both oral and written
  • Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge/experience with accounting for insurance industry is a plus
  • CPA, CA, or CFA qualification is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects
  • Understanding customer requirements and processes related to Accounting at banks, asset managers, and insurers and outlining solutions for optimal use of SimCorp Dimension®
  • Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success
  • Gaining understanding of Simcorp One and utilizing them for project delivery
  • Acting as a key contact for customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension®
  • Instructing and mentoring less experienced colleagues on the job
  • Contributing to improving best practices for implementation processes and promoting topics across projects
  • Actively participating in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international level
