About The Position

NorthStar Behavioral Health is seeking an organized and professional Lead Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. The Lead Behavioral Health Technician plays a key role in supporting clients in their daily living activities while also welcoming and orienting new residents, accompanying them to appointments, and ensuring proper documentation of important information. Responsibilities also include managing resources, training staff, addressing issues, and collaborating with the client and treatment team. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 Year of leadership experience
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
  • Current vaccination for tuberculosis (TB) or willingness to be vaccinated upon hire.

  • Ability to write end-of-shift reports, incident reports, life-skills reports, and any other documentation that may be developed.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage interruptions quickly and appropriately.
  • Ability to navigate the unit computer, check emails, document reports into Carelogic, clock in and out for meals, perform daily scanning, and complete.
  • Complete assigned online learning and training by due dates.
  • Ability to communicate accurate information to the manager and other staff.
  • Demonstrates Northstar Behavioral Health's Mission, Vision, and Values while adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance.
