About The Position

Unison Health is seeking compassionate and motivated Lead Behavioral Health Technician to join our Children’s Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP). Requirements

High School Diploma
3 years or more supervisory experience with children
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver’s license & insurable (if driving required)
CPR & CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping children succeed

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead decision maker for the shift
Assist in new staff onboarding
Lead afternoon shift huddle (include point review)
Assign evening staff responsibilities
Assist with call offs
Communicate concerns to program manager and/or director
Support crisis response and behavioral interventions
Coach staff during therapeutic interactions
Monitor/coordinate groups, recreation, and family visits
Review and finalize point sheets
Coordinate point store shopping
Maintain point store inventory
Review incident reports
Coordinate evening routines and overnight handoff
Ensure documentation is complete before shift end
Assist with daily living skills, meals, hygiene, chores, and recreation
Lead and participate in structured activities and learning opportunities
Document progress, behaviors, and interactions
Use trauma-informed approaches, de-escalation techniques, and crisis interventions when needed
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a safe, supportive environment
