About The Position

At North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Evanston, IL, is looking for a Lead BCBA in training to join our team. In this role, you will work as a Registered Behavior Technician, while also assisting the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. You must currently be enrolled in a graduate-level ABA course and working towards your BCBA certification. Why North Shore Pediatric Therapy? Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or completed in graduate-level ABA courses, and actively working towards certification as a BCBA.
  • 1 year experience of conducting ABA therapy with clients with Autism.
  • Active RBT certification with the BACB.
  • Completion of a minimum of 1000 restricted hours of ABA therapy overseen by a BCBA.
  • Background in teaching, assisting, counseling, or coaching.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to pick up new technology quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Assist the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients.
  • Maintain a role as a Behavior Therapist on their client’s teams.
  • Support/train the client’s family to facilitate the generalization of therapy gains across people and environments under the direction of the BCBA or Clinic Director.
  • Manage a Behavior Therapist team under close supervision of the BCBA/Clinical Director, including training, supervision, and performance feedback.
