About The Position

Hoopstars is a large and rapidly expanding private youth sports organization in the GTA, dedicated to providing fun and engaging coaching sessions that foster confidence and create memorable experiences for children and families. We are seeking Lead Basketball Coaches with managerial experience in youth sports to join our team. Our program caters to children aged 2-10, initially focusing on fun and positive reinforcement, and progressively introducing fundamental basketball skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. As children advance, we incorporate scrimmages and more competitive play, culminating in game-like situations and skill development for older participants.

Requirements

• Managerial experience in youth sports is a must.
• Availability on weekday evenings and weekends.
• Reliable and professional.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality.
• Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to coach for 2+ hours.
• Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.
• Access to a vehicle for work purposes.
