About The Position

Located in the historic Heathman Hotel, Bar Sprezzatura is a bustling lunch spot by day and aperitivo and cicchetti bar at night. Whether enjoying a bustling meal, an aperitivo, or savory snacks, guests are transported to a world where timeless traditions meet the vibrant, sun-kissed charm of coastal Italy. The Lead Bartender at Bar Sprezzatura is a motivated, organized, and passionate beverage professional who leads our bar team with expertise and creativity. You’ll craft exceptional cocktails, educate and inspire staff, manage inventory and beverage costs, and elevate the guest experience with your deep knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer. This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high volume bar or restaurant
- Exceptional communication skills
- Expansive food and beverage knowledge
- Experience in recipe development, inventory management, and staff education
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a team
- Ability to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
- At least 21 years of age
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time

- Experience in promotions and social media marketing is a plus
