About The Position
The Lead Barista is responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of Starbucks. They prepare and serve well-crafted specialty coffee drinks and other beverages, while maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. The Reserve Barista represents the brand and the culture of an establishment, providing clients with professional and friendly service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English, Spanish is a plus
- One year experience in guest service.
- Ability to provide legible communication.
- Ability to do basic arithmetic.
- Previous guest relations training.
Responsibilities
- Setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of Starbucks.
- Prepare and serve well-crafted specialty coffee drinks and other beverages.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
- Replenish items and assist in serving grab and go items.
- Handle/Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist with inventories as scheduled.
- Prepare coffee and tea beverages for customers.
- Cash handling and accurately record customer order information.
- Grinding and brewing coffee.
- Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders.
- Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures.
- Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance.
- Contributing to a positive work environment.
