About The Position

The Lead Baker, also known as Pastry Key Employee, at Percy supports the Kitchen Manager in the operation of the back of the house: ordering, holding high standards, customer service, food quality, and safety. In order to be successful in these responsibilities, the PKE must love the restaurant business, exude the core values, and lead with heart and humor. Requirements

  • Support the line and front of house staff

  • Quickly and professionally support the Kitchen Manager in team communications
  • Support front of house leadership & team
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards including health inspection high scores
  • Assist with “dish” upkeep
  • Ensure that baked goods WOW guests by maintaining our high-quality standards
  • Execute required recipes using accurate and consistent methods
  • Ensure baked goods have an appealing finished product
  • Monitor and maintain food standards for recipe adherence, production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety
  • Complete applicable check lists, order guides and count sheets on time
