As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as a team lead in the designing, producing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes, as well as lead processes for creating and maintaining IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems. The Lead AWS Software Engineer (AI and DevOps SME) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: Independently determine the needs of the customer while identifying and resolving conflicting or complementary needs across customer groups. Applying advanced skill, knowledge and experience, design and develop software solutions to meet customer needs. Use a process-driven approach to leading design solutions. Implement new software technology and coordinate simultaneous implementation tasks across teams.

Requirements

  • 4 years overall in Software Engineering disciplines, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Programming skills in Python, SQL and experience with AWS.
  • 4 years DevOps Engineering experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles
  • Understanding financial data, KPIs, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the finance or fintech industry with exposure to building and managing Risk Management and Audit applications
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • AWS & Cloud Engineering Experience leveraging AWS cloud services to design, develop, and support scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS for developing cloud-native applications, data pipelines, and scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Designed and integrated enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, and Fast API services, enabling secure, scalable, and high-performance system-to-system communication.
  • Experience developing modern web applications and user interfaces using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and Streamlit.

  • Developed enterprise GenAI solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, AI agents, RAG frameworks, vector databases, embedding models, and MCP integrations to deliver conversational AI and knowledge management capabilities.
  • Applied prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques for financial reporting, document summarization, intelligent search, client communications, and workflow automation.
  • Built and orchestrated multi-agent workflows, tool-calling frameworks, and retrieval pipelines to improve AI reasoning, contextual awareness, and response accuracy.
  • Authored model documentation, prompt strategies, and governance artifacts to support audit, compliance, and knowledge-sharing requirements.
  • DevOps engineering experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and AWS DevOps services to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
  • Automated infrastructure provisioning and cloud deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
