About The Position

This role focuses on leading AWS migration and cloud modernization projects. The engineer will be responsible for migrating and administering Apache Kafka workloads using Amazon MSK, designing secure and scalable AWS architectures, and automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Collaboration with various teams and implementation of monitoring, security, and performance optimization are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience
• 5+ years of experience on AWS
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Migration and Amazon MSK
• Experience migrating self-managed Kafka to Amazon MSK
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash
• Strong understanding of Apache Kafka architecture
