About The Position

The lead RBT is a critical leadership role within the RBT Rise Program, responsible for supporting the clinic floor operations and the development of the RBT team. This role is designed for experienced Lead RBTs, ready to transition into a leadership role that focuses on mentorship, clinic organization, and team development. The lead RBT will not have a consistent client case load and will ensure that RBTs receive the guidance, resources, and support needed to deliver high-quality ABA services. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lead RBT in good standing or previous experience and demonstrated competency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or early childhood education preferred. Exceptions may be made based on years of experience as an RBT and tenure with HHF.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and guide a team while maintaining high clinical standards and promoting professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on training, guidance, and mentorship to RBTs to ensure they deliver behavior intervention plans effectively while maintaining clinical best practices.
  • Demonstrate effective clinical techniques, data collection methods, and client interaction strategies to help RBTs enhance their skills.
  • Lead the onboarding of new RBTs, coordinating shadowing sessions, and facilitating training modules to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Conduct designated training sessions (97153 and 97154) ensuring consistency in clinical practices.
  • Ensure that the clinic is well-organized, clean, and conducive to a productive work environment. Assist with clean-up and overall clinic maintenance throughout the day.
  • Provide daily support to RBTs, ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and assistance necessary to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
  • Fill in for RBTs during breaks and lunches, as needed, to maintain clinic operations without disruption to client services.
  • Act as a mentor to the RBT team, fostering professional growth through feedback, coaching, and hands-on guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Lead BCBA to provide feedback during RBT evaluations, assisting in identifying areas for improvement and recognizing achievements.
  • Help identify and develop future RBT leaders by mentoring high-potential team members and offering leadership development opportunities.
  • Oversee shadowing sessions for new and current RBTs to ensure they are learning and applying best practices in a clinical setting.
  • Lead the onboarding experience for new RBT hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Participate in the RBT recruitment process by conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and making hiring recommendations based on organizational needs and cultural fit.
  • Support the overall care delivery process by ensuring clinic operations run smoothly and that RBTs have the support they need.
