About The Position

This role coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to all Walmart policies and procedures. The Lead Associate demonstrates an advanced understanding of production techniques and processes in an assigned area, ensuring quality standards are met and products are produced in accordance with company standards. They also show a strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures. Responsibilities include managing inventory (receiving, stocking, ordering materials), accurately following recipes and preparation instructions, and effectively managing time for efficient and accurate completion of tasks. The Lead Associate leads by example, providing guidance and support to other associates, and maintains accurate records and reports, including production reports, inventory levels, and employee performance. They comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Requirements

• 1 year's experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 1 year's experience working with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.

• Leads by example providing guidance and support to other associates as needed
• Maintains accurate records and reports including production reports inventory levels and employee performance
• Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback
