About The Position

The Lead Assembler at HYVE Solutions is responsible for guiding a team of assemblers in the efficient and accurate production of electronic components and systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. This role involves both hands-on assembly work and leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electronic assembly or a similar manufacturing role.
  • Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within an assembly environment.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, assembly techniques, and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications for data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of assemblers to meet daily production targets and quality objectives.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior assemblers on assembly techniques, safety procedures, and quality control.
  • Perform complex assembly tasks, including reading blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report on team performance.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are strictly followed by the team.
  • Assist with inventory management related to assembly components.
  • Operate and maintain various assembly tools and equipment.
