About The Position

Oversee the day-to-day production of the ATO assembly line as directed by Supervisor. This role involves training and directing department employees, ensuring the assembly line meets production schedules, and communicating daily production reports to the Supervisor. The Lead Assembler is responsible for completing the assembly of various machine models according to established procedures, maintaining required paperwork, and verifying that completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork. This role also requires the use of instruments and gauges to check tolerances and moving machines as needed, utilizing both manual and electric pallet jacks.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.
One (1) + year cross-functional assembly experience including operation of hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches.
Operate small air, hand and electric tools.
Read work instructions and drawings.
Effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand).
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
Computer skills including email and Excel.

Responsibilities

Train and direct the work of department employees in all stations of the assembly process.
Assure assembly line meets production schedules.
Communicate with Supervisor; report daily production.
Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.
Complete and maintain required paperwork.
Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.
Use instruments and gauges to check tolerances.
Move machines as required.
Use a manual and electric pallet jack.
Perform other duties as assigned.
