About The Position

A Lead Assembler at D&H Industries oversees the Tactical Department in day-to-day operations. The Lead ensures that safety and quality standards are being met. The Lead will assist with training and troubleshooting of equipment.

Requirements

Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Ability to read measurements in metric and traditional scale.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
HS diploma or equivalent.
At least three years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience in a lead role preferred.
Ability to stand up to 10 hours per shift.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook

Nice To Haves

Technical degree or equivalent in skilled trade preferred.

Responsibilities

Assigns tasks to employees working in the Tactical Department.
Provides training and communication to employees working in the Tactical Department to ensure that procedures are followed and meet quality standards.
Use work instructions to assemble and produce parts.
Inspect parts to ensure customer specifications and quality are met.
Perform basic measurements using quality measurement equipment and documenting results.
May be assigned to work in other areas of the production floor as needed to meet production deadlines.
We will train you how to operate a press and to spot weld.
