About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional Lead ASIC Design Engineer to own the design and delivery of high-performance ICs for next-generation optical interconnect systems. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a proven expert in analog, RF, and mixed-signal design who can operate at both the architecture and transistor level. Requirements

  • 10+ years of industry experience in ASIC/IC design with deep expertise in analog and/or RF circuits.
  • Strong command of transistor-level design and mixed-signal system integration.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex silicon from concept to production.
  • Demonstrated experience leading circuit design teams and driving execution.
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing SerDes, TIAs, drivers, PLLs, or clocking architectures.
  • Familiarity with optical transceivers and electronic-photonic co-design.
  • Experience in high-volume semiconductor product development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and transistor-level design of advanced ASICs across analog, RF, and mixed-signal domains.
  • Own end-to-end development: specification, design, verification, tape-out, and silicon bring-up.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing circuit design team.
  • Drive design reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure first-pass silicon success.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with system, photonics, packaging, and product teams.
  • Contribute to photonic IC co-design and integration strategies.
  • Identify technical risks early and drive decisive mitigation.
