Gathers, analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, tests, implements, evaluates, and maintains information technologies that collect data to support business needs. Utilizes data to support decision-making. Provides identification of outcomes. Develops plans for achieving identified outcomes. Assists and documents testing, training, activation and implementation of the plan. Provides for outcome measurement and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Area of focus in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field preferred.
  • Four years of relevant experience in application support, hardware or interface preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and communicates project progress and outcomes to appropriate health system departments and personnel.
  • High level of customer service while promoting and participating in the team approach necessary.
  • The Lead Applications Support Analyst collaborates with Business Analyst's and Project Manager's to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Acts as a liaison to assigned leaders and departments as well as providers in order to facilitate optimal use of applications.
  • Holds team members accountable for configuration standards.
  • Delegates project tasks and project lifecycle support to team members.
  • Mentors team members.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and customer service skills, as well as strong presentation techniques required.
  • Project management, prioritization, strong communication and problem solving skills needed on a daily basis.
  • Skillful at managing change.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of current clinical or business practice, regulatory healthcare requirements, and healthcare information systems.
  • Knowledge of existing Service Level Agreements and ensure compliance with standards.
  • May demonstrate basic knowledge and support of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) philosophies in daily work when necessary.
  • When applicable, must possess knowledge in state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
