Employee-centric Orlando Health has been selected as one of the “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare Position Summary The Asset Analyst-IT work includes administration of Clinical Engineering technology and software assets, licensing, and service contracts. Administers the normal operations of processes including data analysis, exception identification, reporting, and tracking compliance. Helps to ensure that the mechanics of the processes are monitored, identifies opportunities for improvements, and works with Supply Chain and the vendor service contract representatives to implement. Leads in the resolution of complex work requests, development, and implementation of asset management systems, maintains standards and procedures for software administration to ensure appropriate service documentation and events are appropriately managed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business, Legal Studies, Healthcare or related field of study or 2 years of experience in related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information.
  • Understanding of Asset Management tools and technologies.
  • Either possess or can develop an understanding of hardware/software technologies and configurations including virtualization.
  • Proficiency with office productivity software (MS Office Suite, including Excel to review large data sets, SQL) and SharePoint Preferences. Power BI or Tableau experience would be beneficial.
  • Familiar with Enterprise CE inventories, including techniques such as scanning, ongoing electronic inventory tracking.
  • Knowledge of CE Asset Management principals / practices.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to multitask.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a Data Management function, including the building and management of reports. The ability to read/write some SQL preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collects and maintains accurate CE asset information in repositories to address budgeting, software/firmware version, inventory,service contracts renewals, and costs.
  • Works closely with Supply Chain service contract representative to timely review, implement renewals where the service history supports, assists in the execution of service contracts and/or renewals, and maintains appropriate documentation of contract expenses that can be broken down by site.
  • Builds completed service contracts into the CMMS system.
  • Maintains the contract list so that it can be pulled into the annual budget documents.
  • Reviews all asset discrepancies, assesses, and provides variance resolution.
  • Assists with CE asset inventory true-ups and reconciliations.
  • Responds to requests from Customers, Managers, CMMS vendor, and team members for specific CE Asset Management information.
  • Stays informed of new and updated CMMS features and understand the potential benefits that they represent to the CE or customer/users.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
