About The Position

This role involves working closely with the VP of Engineering to own application security end-to-end. The engineer will tackle complex problems such as multi-tenant isolation, sub-tenant access control, cloud security across multi-region/multi-cloud infrastructure, and securing internet-facing APIs that process over 100,000 events per second.

Requirements

• Security engineer with a computer science background.
• Experience building security practices from the ground up.
• Must pass technical interviews.
• Experience with application security.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a security engineer.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems.
• Been an early security hire (first 3) at a SaaS product or data infrastructure company.
• Must have gone from Backend software engineer to Security engineer.
• Experience securing systems across multi-cloud and/or multi-region infrastructure.
• Experience securing multi-tenant platforms: tenant isolation, authorization models, etc.
• Experience with privacy-adjacent security (PII handling, data residency, GDPR/CCPA technical controls).
• CS, Math, or Physics degree.
