Analytica is seeking a Senior Developer / Task Lead to support a mission-critical, high-visibility federal government program. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications while ensuring alignment with federal compliance, performance, and security standards. This role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities across the full software development lifecycle. Analytica has been recognized by Inc. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer in enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Technical Lead or Task Lead on federal IT programs
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems in production environments
  • Strong proficiency in: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework
  • Strong proficiency in: SQL Server (T-SQL, database design, administration)
  • Strong proficiency in: Web technologies (HTML, XML, JavaScript)
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and modern SDLC practices
  • Strong understanding of release management, testing, and deployment processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience ensuring compliance with federal testing and performance standards (e.g., IRS guidelines)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a High-Risk Background Investigation (Public Trust or higher)
  • Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a key member of an Agile team, contributing to the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise application releases
  • Manage and coordinate daily development activities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of mission-critical systems
  • Oversee Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities, including defect resolution, enhancements, system updates, and performance improvements
  • Lead release planning, execution, and deployment activities across UAT and production environments
  • Ensure applications meet IRS testing procedures and performance validation requirements
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison to Government Program Managers, stakeholders, and executive leadership
  • Ensure solutions adhere to federal compliance, security, and architectural standards
  • Provide technical oversight and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and system scalability
